Richard Ayodeji Ikhide (b. 1991, Lagos) is a London-based visual artist and a graduate of the Royal Drawing School. Ikhide’s background in printed textiles translates in paintings where images are weaved and interspersed with mythology and the importance of myth to modern man. Taking inspiration from artefacts, books and archives, Ikhide manifests the intangible through the material form. Ikhide is currently in a 3-month residency at V.O Curations, at the end of which he will debut in a solo exhibition.
